How often will you need a safety-critical medical?
Medical fitness certificates for working at height, like most safety-critical medicals, are only valid for a limited period of time. How often you need to renew your work at height medical depends on your age:
- Under 54 years – you will need to renew your certificate every 3 years
- Age 55 to 64 – you will need to renew every 2 years
- 65 and over – you will need a yearly medical certification renewal
